For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to get\u00a0urgent medical treatment;<\/li>\n<li>it will take away the\u00a0main source of earning money\u00a0and cause an undue financial burden on you or your family,<\/li>\n<li>you or someone in your family has\u00a0no other practicable means of transport\u00a0for\u00a0getting to and from work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Driver\u2019s Licence can only be granted at the discretion of the court and involves strict conditions and harsh penalties (if breached).<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>What conditions might be attached to my EL?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The court can attach whatever conditions it thinks are appropriate. Some common conditions are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the days and hours which you can drive<\/li>\n<li>the purposes for which you can drive (eg work or medical reasons)<\/li>\n<li>the location where you can drive<\/li>\n<li>the vehicle\/s you can drive, or<\/li>\n<li>having to keep a logbook of all the times you drive under your EL.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>Who can apply for an Extraordinary Driver\u2019s Licence?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have a valid reason, you can apply for an Extraordinary Driver\u2019s Licence if you are under a court-imposed licence disqualification.<\/p>\n<p>Magistrates Court of WA has published a helpful brochure regarding Extra Ordinary Driver\u2019s Licence.
